PROJECT OUTLINE

 

I.                     Upgrade Hoopa and Crescent City from 56K to 384 Kbps.

II.                   Upgrade Weaverville and Willow Creek to 384 Kbps.

 

DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK

 

I.                     Upgrade Hoopa and Crescent City to 384 Kbps

A.     This can be done on days between the Weaverville and Willow Creek work

B.     Install new CSU/DSUs on Fractional T1 units

C.    Verify connectivity via Frame Relay cloud

D.    Get new circuit numbers recorded on drawing and in notes

E.     Adjust to applicable channels from Telco

F.     Adjust bandwidth on router if needed

G.    Turn down 56K lines at both sites

 

II.                   Upgrade Weaverville and Willow Creek to 384 Kbps.

A.     This is to be done in the late evening or early morning

B.     Verify circuit numbers and record on drawing and in notes

C.    Adjust to applicable channels from Telco

D.    Adjust bandwidth on router if needed

E.     Test connectivity

 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILTIES:

 

1.      Configuration Information

 

Customer must provide the necessary network addressing and protocol information prior to equipment configuration. PRE EXISTING

 

Customer must provide the necessary circuit provisioning information prior to router configuration.  We are working directly with the Telco on this.

 

Customer must provide the necessary information required for any software configuration. N/A

 

Customer is responsible for scheduling circuit turn-up with the circuit provider. We can act as a liaison with the circuit provider at Customer request.

 

2.      Environmental Factors

 

Customer is responsible for providing a sufficient space in the Computer Room for the installation of the new equipment.

 

Customer is responsible for providing a sufficient number of power outlets to run the equipment. These outlets should be isolated from an electrical circuit that may create electronic interference with data communications equipment.

 

Customer is also responsible for providing the appropriate operating environment for these products as described by the manufacturer of the equipment.

 

EXCLUSIONS:

 

1.      Functionality vs. Connectivity

This Scope of Work will guarantee network connectivity. However network functionality is not guaranteed. Network functionality is dependant on Server and Workstation configuration parameters that fall outside of this Scope of Work.

 

2.      Hours Of Work

All work to be done within normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm). Projects requiring labor outside of these hours will be charged at a premium overtime rate.
